Now that four years have passed and we are in the four season, we got to know the guys of BTR a little better. We know who Kendall Schmidt, Carlos Pena Jr., James Maslow and Logan Henderson are.
But did you guys know that Kendall wasn't part of BTR until 1-2 weeks before the series was suppose to aired?
The original BTR were
- Carlos Pena as Jesse
- Logan Henderson as Konas
- James Maslow as Bryan
- Curt Hansen as Donovan
Later on Scott changed the name to the actors names and we got 4 skater from Wisconsin called Carlos, James, Logan and Curt.
Katie was a 16 year old girl while Mrs.Knight wasn't play by Challen Cates.
At the last second they decide to changed Curt for someone else. There's multiple reason given why they decide it.
- He sounded or look to much like James
- Carlos has stated in an interview that there wasn't chemistry between the guys.
So Logan asked Scott to audition Kendall for a second time. After he auditioned the guys were asked who to pick and Kendall was chosen as the "leader" of BTR.
Scott changed the script and added multiple stuff like The Giant Turd Song, Carlos now wears a helmet, Katie as younger sister to Kendall (played by Ciara Bravo) and the role of Mrs. knight was given to Challen Cates.
Curt does returned to series as Dak Zevon.
The song Big Time Rush wasn't created until Kendall joined the cast. The theme was suppose to be This is our someday.
Carlos, James, Logan and now Kendall were thinking on going something with the tittle Big Time in it and Big Time Rush was born.
So it's Kendall an improvement to BTR? (Me:YES!) There's a few video of the Unaired "Big Time Audition" who real name was Brand New Day.
